FROM THE CLEARINGHOUSE

Pray for the eleven people who just completed the intake process this past month. May God guide each church volunteer to share God’s hope with each of these persons as they bring help for their physical needs. May each of these participants be willing to join a class offered through Love INC and to look to God for new perspective about their lives and His plan for their future.

Please pray for the many upcoming Love INC events and activities this month.  Ask God to bless and lead and encourage people who participate.  And as you pray, consider whether God is calling YOU to participate!

Our Renegades Family Fun-Raiser will be held on Sunday, August 18 at 4:30 pm.  Come and watch the Hudson Valley Renegades vs. the Staten Island Yankees.  Your $12 ticket includes grand stand seats and a Renegades hat.  $5 for every ticket sold will be donated to Love INC.  Tickets may be purchased online through https://groupmatics.events/event/midhudson. You may also enter a $5 raffle for a chance to throw out the first pitch! To enter, or if you have questions, call Ann Derwin Doyle at 914-618-0474. Please pray that this would be a well-attended, fun, and successful fund-raiser for Love INC.

REFOCUS & REJUVENATE
All Love INC volunteers are invited to attend Refocus & Rejuvenate on Thursday, August 22, 6:30-8:30 pm at Immanuel Church (253 Myers Corners Road, Wappingers Falls).  Get on board with Love INC as we prepare for some significant growth in 2020!  Learn more about the power of Redemptive Compassion and how this biblical ministry model helps people thrive, not just survive.  Learn about the new volunteer opportunities coming your way.  For more information or to RSVP, contact Carley Andrews (director@mhlinc.org or 845-702-2271).  Please pray that this will be a time of inspiration and encouragement for our volunteers.

Carley Andrews and two volunteers in leadership positions will be attending the Love INC National Convention later this month.  Please pray that this will be a time of great learning, inspiration, and encouragement for those attending.  Pray also that those participating would have wisdom and discernment to know how to apply what they have learned and experienced in ways that will transform lives and communities in the Mid-Hudson area.
