We have moved into our new offices!

Saturday, January 26, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Sunday, January 27, 1:00-3:00 p.m.
Stop in and celebrate God’s provision and goodness!  Parking is at the rear of the building.

Sweets for Your Sweetheart!  Our 11th Annual Love INC Cookie Walk will be held on Saturday, February 9, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Poughkeepsie United Methodist Church (2381 New Hackensack Road/Route 376, Poughkeepsie).

Receive a bakery box and glove, and walk through rows of tables choosing from hundreds of pounds of delicious, specialty, home-baked cookies.  Suggested donation is $8.00 per pound.  All proceeds go to benefit Mid-Hudson Love INC.

Our friends from The Ugly Mug, a coffee shop in Poughkeepsie, will be joining us for the day, offering shoppers a complimentary cup of their delicious house-brewed coffee.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION/TRAINING
Are you ready and willing to connect with someone in need?  Love INC has a place for you!  The best way to get started is to come to an information/training session.

  • Love INC Overview: Collaborative Ministry Serving Local People In Need – Wednesday, February 6, 6:30-7:30 p.m. at New Beginnings (35 DeGarmo Road, Poughkeepsie).  Topics include – What is Love INC?  What are the opportunities?  Where might I fit in?
  • Preparing to be a Relational Ministry Volunteer (one-on-one and/or class setting) – Thursdays, February 21 and 28, 6:30-9:00 p.m.  Location to be determined. Training session #1 topics include – Generational Poverty, Goal-Setting, and Expectations.  Training #2 topics include – Active Listening, Boundaries, and Support.
