Prayer Requests for Mid-Hudson Love INC - June 6, 2010
The Board of Directors and Clearinghouse Volunteers have committed to 30 days of
prayer (June 10 to July 10), asking God to provide a volunteer to serve as our Volunteer
Coordinator. As we reach the end of these 30 days, we continue to ask in faith, knowing
that God through His Church has the resources to meet this need. Please continue to pray
and to trust God with us, asking God to provide the person to coordinate the
communication and details needed to enable our volunteers to use their gifts and talents In
the Name of Christ.
Please pray for safety for our volunteers who make furniture deliveries. The stairs are
sometimes steep; the hallways are sometimes narrow; the furniture is sometimes bulky.
Pray that God would give strength and safety and wisdom to those who bring furniture and
God’s Love to clients in needs.
The Nominating Committee will soon be looking for nominees for the Board of
Directors. Please ask God to lead this process. Pray that the Holy Spirit would both lead
the Nominating Committee and prepare the hearts of those God is calling to serve Him as
part of the Mid-Hudson Love INC Board of Directors.
As always, we ask that you continue to pray for our clients. I will again list clients
(names changed) and requests, so that you may pray for specific needs.
Sarah is in a recovery program. She has just recently had surgery and moved into
a new apartment. We have helped Sarah with clothes and personal care items.
Please pray that God would meet her needs and provide her with healing and
strength to continue in recovery.
Terri is young, unemployed and learning disabled. We have helped Terri with
furniture and personal care items. Please ask God to provide employment and to
provide Terri with an appointment and the resources for much-needed dental work.
George was recently released from prison and is not allowed to work at this time.
Please pray that he will be open to ministry from one of our partner churches.
Erin is dealing with many physical problems and pain. She is struggling spiritually
and financially. Please pray with us that God would bless her financially, heal her
body, and provide her with a connection to a church.
Samantha has had many back surgeries and is unable to work. We have been able
to provide her with a comfortable recliner. Please pray that God would free her from
her continuing pain and loneliness.
After almost 3 years in a recovery program, Katherine is moving into her own
apartment. Please ask God to meet her needs and to provide her with continued
strength in recovery.
We thank God for each of you and for your partnership in prayer with us!

Prayer Requests for Mid-Hudson Love INC – May 7, 2010
Thank you for your continuing prayer for Mid-Hudson Love INC. We recognize that it is only through God’s grace that we are able to do His work in our community.
June 5 is our Love INC Auction. Please pray that God would bless this effort, as we receive items to auction, publicize the event, and manage all the details. (If you have an item such as a gift certificate, service to offer, high quality crafts, jewelry or collectibles that you would like to donate for the auction, please contact Bill Brunsvold at 462-0396. Visit our website at www.mid-hudsonloveinc.org for more information.)
Please thank God with us for our Volunteer Clearinghouse Coordinator, Linda. She is a blessing to all of us as she serves God and His people with grace and love. Please ask od to bless her, protect her and guide her as she works “in the trenches.”
Please continue to pray for God’s wisdom as we seek volunteers and structure to meet the many furniture needs in our community. Thank God with us for the willingness of mmanuel Church to host our new bedding ministry. May He bless and use this ministry to reveal His love to many people.
We ask that you continue to pray for the “nuts and bolts” of our ministry, asking God to bless our finances, to increase our volunteer pool, and to lead us to more partner churches.
And, as always, we invite you to pray with us for our clients. I will list some names (not their actual names) and situations below. Our clearinghouse staff offers prayer and encouragement to these people regularly. Please join us in praying for each of them.
