Helping Churches Help People

Mid-Hudson Love In the Name of Christ PRAYER Update April 9, 2017

Please pray for our spring relational ministry workshops – Journey from Grief to Healing (for those who have experienced the loss of a loved one), ALPHA(Introduction to Christ), and Building Hope (building trust, discovering goals, setting financial plans).  Please pray with us that God would use these group workshops to build relationships and transform lives In the Name of Christ.

Praise God for the way He is enabling partner churches to work together to serve clients.  Fourteen clients are enrolled in the ALPHA class, hosted by Changepoint ChurchBeulah Baptist will be providing transportation for this event.

Praise God for His transforming work in the life of Annette, a Love INC client who was Baptized on March 26 at Beulah Baptist Church.  She was beaming!

Pray with us that God would continue to provide people to offer one-on-one ministry to our neighbors in need, both with isolated, home-bound clients and partnering with those attending our relational ministry workshops.  If you would like more information about this ministry opportunity, please contact Jewel Ratzlaff at 845-896-4126 or info@mhlinc.org.

Praise God for $1,040 raised at a Tag Sale to benefit Love INC the first weekend of this month.  The Tag Sale was held again this past Saturday, April 8 with profits blessing Love INC once again.

Please pray for the following requests from the Clearinghouse:

  • Neighbors who are searching for apartments within their budgets – for God to guide them in their search and for hope that God will provide.
  • Neighbors who have chronic diseases – for them to have courage and for God to provide for their needs and to heal them of their conditions.
  • Neighbors who are recovering from surgery – for them to continue good progress towards healing and to keep focused on the therapies prescribed by their health care providers.

“I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry.”  ~ Psalm 40:1
